Need Opinions About Dilemma about a shower dress
Sooo 2 years ago I went to a friends shower... I would not say its a close friend, but definately a friend none the less.
So now Im pregnant and just started looking at dresses online for my own shower... Even though I dont need it yet... Just out of excitement wanted to get an idea of what kind of maternity dresses there are out there...
Im very picky and I wasnt seeing anything I love until I seen this one dress and OMG IM IN LOVE! BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT I think, Im pretty sure actually it may be the dress that my friend wore to her shower 2 years ago! Sooo my question is do I just say eff it and get the dress and pretend I didnt remember... I didnt take any pictures at her shower and we werent as friendly at that time... Shes more of a friends friend that became my friend as well...
OR
do I just ask her if she would mind if I wear that dress?
There would only be 1 person at my shower that was at her shower...
OR do I just give it up and find another dress LOL Which is possible since I wouldnt be buying this dress for at least another 3 months...

maternity clothes are all the same and there are only so many options....
if you love it- wear it! i dont think your friend will care in the least...

I would totally not over-think it. I can't even remotely remember what any of my friends or family members wore to their showers. Lol, I am sure that you and maybe your friend might be the only ones who notice. Plus, you can put your own spin on it with shoes, accessories, etc. and make it your own look. I say that if you found a dress that you love, you should go for it!

i would keep looking because like you said, you have plenty of time. I just personally hate wearing things that I've seen on other people so that dress would be a no for me 
however, do i think it's a big deal? No, not at all. It was two years ago and like you said, not many of the same guests will be there.

Thank you ladies! I feel so much better about it... I always tend to over analyze... lol
And Im not one to 'copy' what people wear, I like to do my own thing. I dont ever do that...
I can def put my own spin on it and its all different guests so no one will know but her and I... And I know how she is, she wouldnt care... Plus its like a dress Im completely obsessed about and cant stop thinking of! LOL
O well I still have time but its just been on my mind and wanted to talk about it!
