need opinions-hair related
I had my hair done last week and it cost $$$, but I was fine with it, because it was a long process to go from all the red I had to the color I have now. Thing is the lady I feel didnt put in enough chunky highlights so i called her the same day and told her how i felt and she said to come in a week(tomorrow).
My mom says she shouldnt charge me, but if she tries to? Should I say something in the very beginning, like "Hi, thanks for doing this, there isnt going to be an extra charge for this though righ?" or should I just have it done and then if she tries to bill me then say something?
TIA

Re: need opinions-hair related
did you ASK for chunky? how did you tell her to do the hair?
if you didnt get what you asked for, it SHOULD be free.
im not cool though- i dont have it in me to ask upfront- because it should be free imho
if they do charge you, i would not go to the salon again.
thats just me.

I agree with Julz- say something before.
Otherwise you're backed into a corner because you've already received the service and don't want to pay....and after knowing what they charged you, they BETTER not make you pay again!!!!!

I had asked for chunky, and to put in a lot of them. She seemed to put in a lot, she had to mix color 3 times, and it took 1.5 hrs+ to put it all on, but it doesnt look like it though. It looks like scattered thin highlights.

I'd try to say something beforehand, try to ask the receptionist how something like this is handled, before you get in her chair.... If you don't they may say "oh, we never said it was free" or something like that and you'll get stuck paying.
