Need Quick Help---does Bisquick go bad?
I am making quiche, and I need a cup of bisquick, and my bisquick says use by july 15, 05....
its open, but tied with a twist tie...

Wow, I wouldn't even think to look at the expiration date. Hell, I'd just use it as long as there's no bugs in it. Sorry to be gross, but I know that can happen sometimes. Give it a sniff, if it smells fine, I'm sure it is.

I just read some scary thing in Ann Landers or Dear Abby about expired pancake batter & mold. After googling it & finding out it was true - I wouldn't take a chance on the Bisquick.
It's not worth it.

I think you would be safe - the snopes article said the mix was "very outdated" and the other details said it was left open for 2+ years in the pantry (I'm actually surprised it didn't have bugs after 2+ years ).
But I guess better safe than sorry!
