Need quick help figuring out cubic yards from square footage!

Need quick help figuring out cubic yards from square footage!
I have approximately 396 square feet (2 feet deep) that I need to convert to cubic yards.. can anyone help?
is it multiplying the square footage x the depth and then divide by 27?

I would think you can convert to cubic feet, then divide by three... right?
Math is not my strong suit

cubic feet - length times width times height
396 x 2 = 792
792/3 = 264 cubic yards
ETA: no you were right - divide by 27. It's 29.3 cubic yards
