NO...your machine is covered by the warranty which is pretty good. I had a piece break on the back of mine, Cricut took the machine back and sent me a brand new one.

I guess you decided to return the Imagine?

I agree w/ Lisa - Provo Craft has a good warranty, and good customer service. No need to spend the extra $$.

Yes...I played around with it a few times but its just not for me. First it's HUGE...and weighs almost 30 pounds. I need to put it in a closet when it's not being used and it's a PIA to take it in and out. I was also told each time you move it like that it needs to be recalibrated. To get any use in one of these machines I need the Gyspy...something I can sit and play with while in bed or on the floor with the kids. For someone like me who doesn't do this stuff on a regular basis to spend the money for the Imagine AND Gypsy is a waste. I can get the Expression...Gypsy and extra cartridges for less than the Imagine was.

My boyfriend is dissapointed because he feels like he bought the "best" but I know me...i'll never use the Imagine. No need to waste money when you have two kids...lol.
