Need quick opinions! What's better for DD with Partime Daycare? Two days in a row or Every other?
DD did great at daycare when i was working full time, she adjusted in about a week or two.
I am going back to work 2 days a week, and working from home the other 3. Gianna goes to people she knows no problem with a little warm up, but won't go to people she doesn't see that often unless they play with her and she prefers to talk to them from a lap she's comfy with. I don't want her screaming all day.
What would be better? Two days in row Wed/Thurs, or like a Tues/Thurs?
Thank you!

I would think 2 days in a row. I think it's more like a regular routine. I would think it would be better for you as far as a work schedule as well. Ya know, work 2 days, have 5 off; instead of just kind of sputtering along for 3 days. The day off in the middle is kind of like a tease, I think.

I think 2 days in a row establishes more of a routine. My DD goes to a sitter tues/wed and then my moms thurs/fri and she adapted very well.

I think two days in a row is better. I would think it would be more disruptive to skip a day in between - more difficult for her to adjust every week.

When I was going into the office 3 days a week, I did Mon, Tues, and Thurs. Honestly, the break in between days was for me. I would do the 2 days in a row if you think that will work for you.

I work full-time but my Dh and I are able to work weekends so we don't need childcare 5 days a week, My DD is out of the house 3 days in a row then with one of us for four, and she seems to be in a good schedule..

2 days in a row...I did daycare for a short time and the kids that came every other day seemed to have a harder time dealing with the daily routine

Thanks everybody!!
My gut was for the two days in a row, but MIL thought it would be better to split and of course i started second guessing myself
Thanks! Wednesday/Thursdays she's at daycare and home with me the other 3.
