Need "recipe" for London Broil - or good website besides foodtv.com

I don't have a grill so I have to cook it in the oven.

Do you have a good recipe for it or know of any good recipe website besides foodtv.com

Hey Sophie!
I usually just season it with a little bit of salt and pepper and then a moderate amount of garlic powder.

Unfortunately, I don't remember how long I broil it for. It's been a while since I made it in the oven.

It doesn't take that long, though. You have to flip it after it's browned. Then keep checking it until the inside is what you desire (i.e. Medium rare, medium, well, etc.). Maybe like 6-9 minutes per side.

And there are a bunch of recipes here:

or you could do it my lazy way above. Chat Icon

Thanks! I just "dumped" a bunch of spices with olive oil and marinated it a bit.

I will try to broil for 6 minutes per side and "assess".

I highly recommend cooks illustated..... I bet they have a london broil recipe...

it's one of only 3 websites I actually subscribe to (others are a greeting card site, and of course consumer reports)... well worth the $$$.
