need recipe ideas for my dd's 1st birthday
luau theme. should i go with some hawaiin type foods? or just stay with regular food and go with luau everything else? maybe some hawaiin type appetizers? thanks..im stumped

if you are doing luau themed, then i would pick lighter summery dishes.
Fruit cabobs
Chicken with pinapple
BBQ wings
Swedish meatballs
Shrimp skewers
Terryaki beef
Maybe do a search on food network or on like for dishes with mango, pinapple, hawiian, luau party ideas.

i just had coconut shrimp with mango salsa the other night... doesn't seem like they would be too hard to make- you can get the shredded coconut in the baking aisle....lol not sure about the mango salsa, though
