Need reco for a SUV limo/small party bus
I need a SUV limo or small party bus for our extended family to take to NYC for a wedding on Labor Day weekend. I am getting prices of $1,300+ and will not do it for that price. Can you recommend someone I can call that may be cheaper? We aren't necessarily looking for style, just an easier way for a lot of people to travel.

How many people? I don't think you will find an SUV or bus for cheap. Maybe a regular 10-12 passenger limo would be better.

A van (about 11 people) would be even less expensive than a limo if you're just looking for a people mover.
Vans typically run about $95/hour (that includes tax and gratuity). So if you needed it for about 8 hours it would only be about $760.
How many people? Do you need it hourly or do you just need a pick up and a drop off?
I can tell you what to expect.

We need it from about 2:00 in the afternoon to possibly 1:00 AM. It would be for a pickup in Nesconset to drive to the ceremony in Brooklyn then to the reception in Manhattan and back home after.
It will be somewhere between 12 and 18 people depending on who says yes. We are trying to keep it less than $50 a person. If it's more expensive than that, we can't do it. We will wind up taking the train which is cheaper, but a hassle.
