NO STRIP CLUBS as per the brides request. So what else can we do?

A friend went to see Naked Boys Singing for a bachelorette party. She said it was a lot of fun! They aren't stripping - just singing...and dancing....naked!!!

Re: Need recommendations for an NYC bachelorette party
I just hosted a bachelorette party last weekend......we started out with dinner at Dip (dipnyc.com)--which was great, there were about 10 of us, then we all went out (the plan was mcsorleys then to china1 for drinks/dancing, but we ended up at a bar right across from Dip).....it seems pretty basic, but everyone had a great time

Re: Need recommendations for an NYC bachelorette party
i just threw one a few weeks ago. we went to dinner at Elmo Lounge. LOL it ended up being a gay bar, but we were only there for dinner, so it didn't put a damper on anything- we were just cracking up! food was good though! then we went to Lotus for drinks and dancing. fun place, good music- although it did get a little crowded towards the end, and dancing didn't really pick up till after midnight, so you'll end up being out super late! we're planning another one for this summer, and we're gonna try the awesome 80s prom- heard good things about it, so i'm excited!

Are you fans of Sex and the city? I am planning my sisters bacelorette party for this summer and she loved the idea of going on the SATC tour. They take you to all the popular spots ina limo. There are dfifferent packages and some include lunch, spa trip and gifts for the bride to be... Fm me if you want the info

We went there for mine. I wouldn't reccommend it. It was an experience, I'll give you that, but totally not worth what they charge and the food is disgusting.

Did this for mine. Had an awesome time. Although The Drinks were a little too strong and i got a little too drunk a little too fast, i remember everything about the show.

Re: Need recommendations for an NYC bachelorette party
For a bachelorette party we went to the saloon it is a bar on the upper east side (in the 80s on york) and it was so much fun. They had great music and we paid $40 for all you can drink for 3 hours. We had a blast. It does get really hot and it is probably easier to take a limo there since it is so east then to take the train and cab it from penn

Re: Need recommendations for an NYC bachelorette party
I second mangia e bevi for dinner. It is a fun Italian place with dancing on the tables, etc. Just expect alot of other b-parties.
Some other places I hoted b parties were Tony's Dinapoli, One Little West 12th and mine was at Butter.
You can take a class... for mine we took a striptease class at Penthouse Executive Club.
Some fun bars to round out the night are Red Rocks West (think Coyote Ugly), R Bar (stripper pole in the back) and Brother Jimmy's. Have a great time!!

Culture Club closed last October. They were supposed to move but they haven't opened a new location yet.
