Need Recommendations for wallpaper removal!
We're still waiting on a closing date in the next 4 weeks but...
We have 6 rooms covered in wallpaper. Since its going to be quite an undertaking steaming & repairing before painting we'd like to hire a company to do the removal and repair. Does anyone have any recommendations in the Nassau area?
I know most people do this themselves but we only have weekends to paint and move in and a limited time once closing so we'd like to knock this out quickly and correctly the first time.
TIA!

OmG yes!
I used this amazing company, doing it many many years.
I had wallpaper in every single room of my house, including on the ceilings and light switch cover plates.
They did a perfect job. It took 2 guys about 5 days, working all day, to remove all the wallpaper. We could have never done such a good job.
Then I just recommended them to my brother for a few rooms, and they were great again.
I will FM you the name!

an alternate company if you need is:
Aardvark Neil Stint 631-698-4567
I used him a couple of years ago to remove my wallpaper, repair and prime my walls and paint. He was very good and fairly reasonable for quality work.

We're in the same boat. We closed Friday and started taking the wallpaper down yesterday. Well there were 3 layers so DH and I just decided to re-sheet rock And of course now that the walls are open , he want to re-insulate and add more outlets. Uggghhhh....I'm going to be in debt up to my freakin eye balls
