Need recommendations from mommies who have/had 1 yr olds
What are/were their favorite things at 1 year old? Everyone keeps asking what to get Logan and I have no idea.

Furniture that is just their size. Ride on/Walk toys are big for them too.
Also if you're opting to not have a house full of toys, you can opt for things that increase in value...animation cells, collectible things, Disney stock.

Sorry, I used to collect them long ago so most people that know me, know what they are.
Here's one well-known gallery:
Example of Animation Cells
I have a bunch of original production cells (The Lorax, Cat in the Hat, some Warner Brothers, etc).
eta. ugh! Forget animation cells. Didn't realize they were so much money. When I bought mine they were only about $200.
Disney is running about $30/share.

At one year old, my daughters favorite toys were toilet paper rolls and laundry baskets. LOL. Ask people for clothing in the next sizes!

A lto of what Laurie says.
Toys that can be pushed and pulled. Ride on toys. Those push cart buggies, Red wagon, sled (for the winter), wood puzzles, blocks, big legos, shape sorters, anything that makes animal sounds, corn popper, sand box, musical instuments - drums, shakers, etc, fridge magnets. My son like any kind of ball, bat, truck, car, airplane, books, crayons and coloring. For his 1st Christmas (10 mo) and his 1st birthday - I mentioned things that would work across his whole first year - I put some aside until he was ready for it.
Some ideas..

He still plays with this
