Need Rec's~ Want to Take My Mom on a Trip For Her 60th...
Any good ideas for a mother/daughter vacation?
~figure 3-5 days
~relaxing, shopping, strolling, etc...(nothing over the top adventurous)
~in the US
~nowhere very hot.
I was thinking about surprising her with a choice of 2 or 3 places to go, this way she can pick. (I can't book it yet since she's having surgery & will need time to heal for a while).
Also if you have any unique/fun ideas on how I can present this "gift" to her I'd LOVE some feedback!!!!

ETA: I'm thinking we'd go in Sept/Oct

What about going to Cali for a couple of days and going to Napa or Sonoma and hang out in wine country for a while.
I have been to Napa in Oct and it was AWESOME!!
Or even San Francisco.
