Need Restaurant Recommendations for a Surprise Party (Please!)
What do you think of these two?
City Cafe, Garden City
7th St Cafe, Garden City
If you have eaten there, is the food good? Do you know if they allow DJ's?
I'll take any recommendations!! Anywhere in Nassau is fine with me. Of the thousands of restaurants on this island, I cant think of one besides the two above b/c I found them in a post. (LOL)

I went to a baby shower at the 7th st cafe and the food was very good!
We didnt have a seperate room....just the area in the front of the restruant. I do not know if they have a seperate room, where they would allow a DJ.

i recently had my sisters shower at City Cafe and everyone raved about it!
The food was awesome, the staff is so attentive, and the room was huge and so pretty!!
They have a downstairs room that seems better suited for a DJ.

my shower and my parents 25th anniversary party were both held at Sal's Palce in North Massapequa - very nice, great food and reasonably priced

My SIL's baby shower was at 7th street. It was nice. They have a long room down stairs that is private. I'm not sure how many people you need it for. There were about 50 women (no room to dance though ...)
Why nt something like Millerage Inn Cottage or something? A friend of ours does every event there and the price is reasonable.
