My favorite pulled pork:

Ingredients
pork shoulder
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
1 (18 ounce) bottle your favorite barbecue sauce
8 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted
Directions

Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours. Note: the actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker. Drain well. Stir in barbecue sauce. Serve over hamburger buns.

My favorite chili:

Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapeno peppers
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
Meat from one whole roast chicken, shredded
3 (15 ounce) cans beans (white, red, and black)
1 can corn
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Directions
Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Slowly cook and stir the onion until tender. Mix in the garlic, jalapeno, green chile peppers, cumin, oregano and cayenne. Continue to cook and stir the mixture until tender, about 3 minutes. Mix in the chicken broth, tomatoes, corn, chicken and beans. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the mixture from heat. Slowly stir in the cheese until melted. Serve warm.

As for the cornbread, I like Jiffy!Chat Icon My mom recently tried two different recipes from scratch and both were terrible.

Orange Soda Spare Ribs

This is a crockpot recipe. It came out DELICIOUS!

About 10 pieces of Spare Ribs (on the bone or boneless, doesn't matter)

1 bottle of BBq sauce

2 cans of Orange Soda

1 small onion, chopped

1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

2 tbsp Honey

1 Tsp of Sugar (I use RAW Sugar, its better for you)

1/4 cup of Brown Sugar

A pinch of cinnamon (or more if you like the taste)

A shot of Amaretto (YES, I went there).

Add all the ingredients first in the pot, with setting on LOW. Set timer to 8 1/2 hours.

Pan sear the ribs, 5 minutes on one side, flip for another 5 minutes in Olive oil (or veggie oil, corn oil, just not car oil...lol) and a slice of butter, sprinkle some brown sugar in the pan. When you're done with each piece, place them all together in pot, and wait. :)
