Need Seafood restaurant recommendations.
I am dying for GOOD fresh seafood. Our anniversary is coming so even if it's a little pricey thats okay. We are in Suffolk. Thanks

H2O in Smithtown
If you like sushi, Thai Green Leaf in Massapequa is really fresh, but it isn't a 'nice' restaurant for an anniversary.

Re: Need Seafood restaurant recommendations.
I have to say that there are tons of great restaurants in Suffolk but none that I love which are solely "seafood" restaurants. You could try the Snapper Inn (eh) or Riverview (blech) but what about something like Tellers in Islip? You can get some great surf and turf dishes there.

We went tonight to Lands End's Lobster night. It was outstanding! They have the lobster night every Wednesday during the summer!

It isn't fancy, but The Lobster Roll in Baiting Hollow has always fresh seafood and very good. We go there all the time.

Re: Need Seafood restaurant recommendations.
I was in the mood for good seafood too, so we went to Riverbay in Williston Park a couple of days ago. We had a great dinner and really enjoyed ourselves.

The Oar is my faveorite- not too fancy. Captain Bill's I hear is good. I had delish seafood at Blackstone in... Melville I think. But it's a steak place.

Re: Need Seafood restaurant recommendations.
My parents live upstate and they love coming down here for fresh seafood. We've tried a lot of places and they love Land and Sea in Rocky Pt. on 25A. When you first walk in, it's a market, but in the back, there is a restaurant and they pile on HIGH the seafood platters. My dad always gets the Captain's Platter and it's enough to feed all 4.
