Need serious cat pee help!!!
Our cat peed in the basement and I found the spot and I used almost half a bottle of Natures Miracle getting it up. That was like 5 days ago...and the smell is horrible!!! HOw can I get rid of this smell!?!?! It's stinking up the whole house, even with the door shut and the window down there open. I was thinking maybe he even peed in a second spot I missed, but how can I find it at this point when it's dry? HHHEEELLLPPPP!!!!

Nature's Miracle DOES NOT WORK... (to which I am sure you're thinking, NO KIDDING! )
Anyway, the two BEST enzyme cleaners are: Unique http://stainandodorsolution.com/ and
Anti-Icky Poo (this place has it cheaper than anywhere) http://socalpetshop.com/shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=6
TRUST ME, I KNOW what I am talking about....

Can you get these in a store, or only online?

Only on-line that I know of because they're commercial.
If you just have that one spot, FM me, if you live near me you can just borrow it from me

Re: Need serious cat pee help!!!
Thanks so much for the offer. After you posted about the enzyme products, I had a slight memory of having bought something like that when he was little and peed on the carpet a couple times. I went home and found it way in the back of the closet. It didn't smell anymore after I sprayed it, but it did say that it would take 24-48hrs to dry and to really be able to tell if we soaked through enough to reach it all. So I'll see later when I get home. Fingers crossed! Thanks!

Re: Need serious cat pee help!!!
i am assuming your basement is carpeted?
I had a cat that would pee all over the living room rug and we were never able to get the smell out bc it had seeped through to the padding. The smell went away a little bit but not 100% I dont remember the products that we used, this was a couple of years ago. My parents are finally getting a new rug and padding due to a fire in the house!
Hopefully the products mentioned above will work.

Re: Need serious cat pee help!!!
I use bio-zet, which is an enzyme laundry detergent. I don't know if you can buy it in the US, but they must have something like it in the detergent section. If you clean the area with something that has ammonia, they will be attracted to do it more, b/c a cat can sense the ammonia which is in pee. Vinegar doesn't work either.

Re: Need serious cat pee help!!!
I've tried so many of these cleaners..I had to eventually replace carpet..more than once. $$$$$$$$
I put many more litter boxes out and that seemed to help. I have a kitty that needs prozac.
The stink is horrible.
