Hi,
Can anyone suggest a really simple appetizer to make for xmas? I have a lot of running around to do xmas eve day and I promised to make an appetizer. I wanted something really easy, but yummy too.
Please any suggestions, anyone?? Thank you so much, Denise

Spinach Dip
Was just about to say the same thing

Use either garlic bread as dippers or get one of those big bread and scoop out the middle.

I also was going to say spinach dip. I always make it a day before and it tastes better. I just always run out the morning I am going to serve it to by the bread.

Re: Need simple appetizer suggestion?
I made an awesome bacon and cheddar dip.
its sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits (real bacon). Make sure you refrigerate it for about an hour after mixing it together. I made it for a party last weekend and everyone loved it.

Re: Need simple appetizer suggestion?
Today I made really easy spinach/feta pastry things.
Get a box of puff pastry. Roll it out thinner so you can cut 12 squares from each sheet.
Cook up a box of chopped spinach. Squeeze out the water in a towel.
Crumble a 2X2" chunk of feta cheese into spinach, combine together.
Put a small teaspoon of the spinach/cheese mixture in the middle of the puff pastry square. Wet sides and fold over to create triangle. Press seam together with a fork.
Bake in oven until golden brown and fluffy.
Super easy and super yummy.
I also have a great recipe for a "chicken broccoli braid" if you need it!

Thank you. Well I made Cheese, Tomatoe and Onion mini puffs and they were a HUGE hit. If you want the recipe, let me know. They were awesome. ;)
The spinach/feta cheese sounds great too! Yummy........ :)
