Need small bit of advice...
Emma came down with a cold last night (1AM - UGH). Stuffy with a slight cough. She was ok today, just slightly stuffy, worse at night of course. She has dance class tomorrow AM with 2 other girls. Should I bring her? Also swimming and school on Wednesday...

IMO if you kept your kids home for every little cold and sniffle they would miss out on life!!! if there's no fever and no green stuff dripping from her nose and she feels ok enough to dance, bring her!

I think that if she feels fine to be doing those things, then you should bring her. I am a teacher, and I see kids with colds in school all the time. It's just the way it goes. You can't keep them home for everything. If she has a fever, I'd say keep her home, but other than that, just tell her not to breathe on anyone Hope she feels better

Re: Need small bit of advice...
They said exercise is good for colds, helps them go away faster. I might not do the swimming depending on the weather but dance and school I would do. I know the pool is indoors, I don't know if I would risk a chill but if Wednesday is as warm as they predict I would go for it.

Re: Need small bit of advice...
I would do the dance class & skip the swimming. As long as there is no fever, I'd say have her participate.
Also I would think about giving her Airborne, Jr. if you're comfortable with that. Maddie had a cough & cold last week. I gave it to her 2x a day, by the beginning of day3 it was gone.
