Need sneaker recs for running and exercising?
Can anyone recommend a decent, inexpensive running sneaker, also to use for working out? Also, where I should go to buy?
I dont want to spend a ton bc I have a tendency not to stick with working out......thanks!

I got Saucony Grid Cohesions off Zappos and I really love them. They were about $50.

I love my ascics. You probably don't want to hear this but I am going to throw it out there anyway- for years I would start working out and then stop b/c I would get injured or really tired. Finally, I went to a running store and got fitted for sneakers. They looked at my feet, watched me run and were able to recommend shoes that would work for me. Turns out I was wearing the wrong size- who knew? Since then, I have been able to stick with working out. I know you said you don't want to spend a lot of $ but if you start running or working out regularly you may want to get fitted for shoes. It can really make a difference. Good luck whatever you decide!

I tend to agree with this. Runner's Edge in Farmingdale is a great running store & the people are runners & very knowledgeable. They will help you find the right shoe.
I used to run in Saucony Hurricane but now they are $140 per pair so I switched to a different Saucony shoe. They helped steer me to a comparable shoe and now I get a pair for $75. They also give a discount regularly---I think 15%.

IMAGE
just wanted to tell you...
I went to "RoadRunner" and they did one of those analyses...
they took all of these different computerized images of my feet to show my arches, then watched me run, etc. and I got fitted for sneakers...
I was scared they'd be super expensive, but they were only $99!!!!!!!! And all of the analysis is free!
You really should go and get fitted! I definitely would have been wearing the wrong size! I didn't buy the custom inserts, but I tried them on and tried on a non-customized one as well so I know what to get if I end up needing that to support my high arches.
