Need some advice-baby wolfing down bottles?WWYD

So, my DD is 3 months old and i mean, wolfing down bottles..i thought it might have been a spurt but she is constantly hungry! I would say every 3 hours during the day she wants about 7 ounces..it is crazy..last night she woke up once and took a 9 oz bottle, i couldnt get her down she was still so hungry..i usually give her 6 ounces but it is just not enough..
did anyone start baby food sooner than 4 months?
She is over 13lbs and growing like a weed..i just wonder if i should feed her something else in addition to the bottle as she is so hungry and taking too much formula

I started with a little cereal at that time to help thicken the bottle b/c of spitup issues. Please speak to your ped before you give her anything, as there are a few different views on how/when to give "food". Some say it can cause allergies if given before 6mos, some recommend @ 4mos... Best to ask the doc, who knows your DC best GL!
