Need some gift advice...

A very close family friend's son just burned his hands and after all was said and done (very scary) both hands are wrapped right now and he's in pain. Chat Icon

They live upstate so we can't really run over to see them but I want to send something to cheer him up. I was thinking a cookie basket since he really can't play with anything.

What do you think? Any other ideas?

I like that idea. Check out Clever Cookie since they do character cookies.

Depending on the age of the kid what about sending a dvd/movie basket?

He's about 5 - bad I know because they are close family friends but we don't see them that often. So I think he's 4-5 Chat Icon

What kind of DVD basket - is it a make your own or preassembled?

Re: Need some gift advice...

You could do a combination of these...pick up a cute kids's basket / bucket and a few DVD's...some cookies / candy / snacks...make a "movie day" basket...
