Need some help

I could use a little help from you guys.
My dog who is now 3, has been pooping in the house once or twice a week over the past month when we are at work. We have not changed her diet, or schedule. We do work long hours, but she has had no problems up till now.

I tried to clean the rug and spray it to get the smell out. She does have a tendency to go in the same exact spot.

I am not sure what do to. I am so upset. I have tried to scold her and then reward her when she goes outside. But it seems to not be working.

Any advice???

Can you contain her in the kitchen or a room with a different type of floor? When we are out, our boys do not have access to the living room or bedrooms since they have rugs. I have found that since we did that, they do not go in the house when we are not home.

It could also be a medical issue. You may want to call your vet.

Use nature's miracle to try and get the smell out. You can use it with a steam cleaner. The smell will penetrate though the backing on the rug, and regular cleaners do not remove the smell even if they remove the stain.

I also agree with Daniella & talk to the vet - it could be a medical issue.

thanks guys. I keep thinking I should try and call the vet. I am going to get the cleaner and see if that helps as well!!
