Re: need some help with more food choices
I think you can give her the fruits like oranges, pineapples, strawberreis and cherries now.
Honestly what I did first was give her the meats with vegetables or fruits. For example - there is Vegetable Beef and Chicken and Apples (and stuff like that).
I am actually just starting Ali on the fruits like oranges, pineapples, strawberreis and cherries this week. Except the one with the strawberries - since there are food allergies in the family, I want to hold off on that.
Hope that helped.

I've been giving a pear/pineapple combo to DS. As well as other combos.
I haven't done the citrus fruits yet either. Today I want to start with an apricot fruit mix medley...

What about a spaghetti dish...like Spaghetti with meat sauce. That was Noah's favorite when he was around that age!

You can try the yogurt mixes and the custard mixes.

I am afraid to start Ava on citruses because i know the acidity can be rough on them sometimes. I give Ava everything you stated, plus spinach, white potatoes, chick peas, asparagus. How about some spaghetti squash? cut it up into tiny pieces and you can mix it with sweet potatoes for a "sauce". I'm not going to give Ava tomato sauce for a while.

see thats my fear with citrus-that it will aggravate her reflux, which has still not gone away. good idea though about chick peas!!!

Citrus fruits hold off till after 1 year.....Alyson likes clementines, but htey seem to make her bottom REALLY red and rashy.
Try honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon.
The baby foods with pineapple or cherries or strawberries are safe because there is such a small amount in there.
