Need some hugs please
Got a courtesy letter that they appreciated me coming in to interview but I am not moving on  I figured that but seeing it in B&W sucked!

A few years ago, I got one of those letters from a school...I wanted to work there so badly, it HURT (not only was it an excellent, brand-new, state-of-the-art school, it's affiliated with Columbia University, so I would have gotten my Masters for free!).
I got the letter on my birthday. I opened it. I cried. But now, a few years later, I know that working there wouldn't have been right for me. I would have had to commute 1 1/2 hours everyday to get there. Another opportunity presented itself much closer to home. So, even though I wound up dropping 40 grand for my Masters from Columbia  , it all worked out in the end.
I guess what I'm trying to say is...it'll all make sense later...you're just not meant to be there. You'll find something better!

All the Leave Replacements and TAs in my buildng got the same type of letter yesterday too. What pisses me off the most is that the guy going in for me for Maternity leave is GREAT!!! He already did a LR for 4th grade earlier this year. So just because he had a bad interview he doesn't get called back when he is doing amazing things in the classroom?
I really feel bad for all of you who haveto go though all this BS!
