Re: Need some luggage...any recommendations where
I don't like to spend a ton on luggage since we don't use it all that often and it just gets banged up so badly on the planes etc. Kohl's has nice sets and even Target.

I got my luggage from there. 7 years later and it's still holding up great. Don't forget the coupons!
IMO I wouldn't spend a fortune on luggage b/c like the PP said, the baggage handlers do not treat them well.

We got this luggage from our shower. It's a bit pricey but it's really lightweight and has a zipper to expand in case you need some extra space.

Re: Need some luggage...any recommendations where
I got a set of IT luggage and it is awesome. Super light weight, but very durable and it is sold in crazy colors so you can't miss it on the luggage belt. I have bright orange. The biggest one weighs less than 5 lbs so you can pack that sucker up and not have to worry about a heavy bag (I'm an overpacker so great for me). I got it at Marshalls or TJ maxx and I think the big one was $60 and the smaller one was $30.

Macys has some good sales on luggage. DH and I bought our Atlantic brand spinner set in 2008 and we use it twice a year at least. We wanted matching pieces that were not black in color. Next sale is on Wednesday - and you can use the coupon on it.

Re: Need some luggage...any recommendations where
We got Chaps luggage from Kohls back in 2005- we used it quite a lot and it held up well. We would still have it but our old sick cat peed in the big suitcase. We got another set from Chaps at Kohls last year, so far so good. They always have a nice selection and with the 30% it's always a good deal.
