Need some party suggestions
I need a good distraction, so I figure I'll start thinking about a birthday party for DS. He will be 4 in January.
Any suggestions for the Queens/Nassau border area?
TIA

Re: Need some party suggestions
Im trying to throw together my 4 yr olds October party so Im in the right mode to help. There's that dinosaur place at Sands Point. I have no idea of the cost (probably $$$) but I know they throw parties.

The dino place is too far from us but here's a site that has lots of other places. You can also switch to look at Queens locations as well.

Re: Need some party suggestions
Found the info: The place is called The Children's Safari and it's on 6 Rockaway Avenue in Valley Stream. Thier number is (516) 872-2600. This is a blub of what I found of them on-line:
Let your explorer take a trip on the wild side at their summer camp or for his or her birthday this year at The Children’s Safari! Birthday guests will roam the wild frontier at an Elephant, Safari, Monkey, Giraffe or Zebra party personalized for each birthday child. Parties can range from 1½-2 hours, and each includes time for open play in the soft contained play unit, which includes slides, rock climbing and mazes, as well as a toddler area and arcade games. Activities such as spin art, sand art, tattoos and animal pottery painting will keep the kids active and entertained, and they'll munch on bagels, pizza or hot dogs and juice or soda. Don't worry about running the party yourself— The Children's Safari will provide you with a party coordinator to keep things under control. Invitations, goody bags and tokens will also be included in every wild animal extravaganza. Popcorn, cotton candy, additional party time, magicians, characters and tons of exciting activities can also be added to your safari with a party upgrade, and Carvel cakes are available for purchase as well. The Children Safari’s beautiful, air-conditioned building in Valley Stream is just the place for little ones to have a blast with their pals on their special day this summer. The Children’s Safari is also available for all other party occasions. Call today to sign your child up for an exciting summer safari party!

Re: Need some party suggestions
It might be too far but party Playland in Merrick is great and not too expensive. I had Sammy's 4th bday party there.
