Need some prayers: UPDATED
Last time a close family member was in the hospital I asked for prayers and he came out all right, so here I am asking again for prayers for my godmother.
They found a small tumor/lump in her lung and they are going to remove it (along with part of her lung) tomorrow. She isn't in the greatest health to begin with, so I'm really nervous.
If you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers I'd really appreciate it!

UPDATED:
Thank you so much!!! My godmother is in recovery, I saw her today, she was in good spirits but may still have to have chemo. we will find out more tomorrow.
The other family member is home, she had her elbow surgery.

When did the find the tumor? Did they do a biopsy to confirm it? I only ask because that is what I am going thru now. In fact, two days ago the pulminologist did a bronchoscopy to look in my lungs. Anyway, back to your family, just making sure they know what they are dealing with and wondering if she got a second opinion.
Regardless. MANY prayers for her

She said they can't do a biopsy because of where it is and because it is kind of small at this point. I don't really understand this--I have a feeling I'm not getting all of the details.
She refused to get a second opinion. I guess there were several docs at the one hospital who looked at her, between all of the scans and tests she had to have.

I just found out ANOTHER family member needs to have surgery on her elbow for a broken bone. Tomorrow.
