Need some websites for finding discounted hotel rates
I already searched Expedia and Hotels.com....are there any others?

I LOVE hotwire.com
It takes a leap of faith - you choose your hotel based on stars - without knowing the actual name of the hotel. But, I have used it almost every single weekend getaway we go on and have never once been dissapointed. I would go for a hotel at 3.5 stars or higher to ensure a really nice place.

Travelzoo - sign up for their weekly newsletter. Hotels use this for big need periods and the offers are really good.
I work for a large hotel company. We advertise the same rates on our own websites as we do on 3rd party sites as Expedia, etc.....If you find a hotel you like on one of these 3rd party sites, alo go to the hotel website to compare.

go to kayak.com It does the search for you, and then you book directly through the website you find the cheapest. This is how I find most of my plane tickets and a few hotel rooms. My uncle uses this site all the time.
