Need someone to talk sense into me

I am 19 weeks today. I had a genetic sono that came out perfectly normal exactly 2 weeks ago.

For some reason, I am getting worried that something is wrong. I have no cramping or spotting or anything. I have another doctor's appointment on Thursday night and have been feeling fine up until about two days ago. All of a sudden, I can't shake this feeling. Is it all in my head, do you think?

I just wish I would feel something already so I can stop worrying all the time.

I would go to my OB today, but I can't leave work and they're only open from 10-4.

What do you think...

You are probably just stressing...call your OB and make an appointment for asap....I'm sure he will be able to alleviate your fears.

i think if you have no cramps or bleeding your fine, but you seem like me and wont be ok till you see your OB. I would give a call to your OB and tell them how your feeling. Im sure all is fine with you and

First off, everything is fine with the baby!!! I hate waiting in between appointments and it is soooo hard when you can't feel the baby moving yet. I always let my mind get the best of me and I drive myself crazy.

You took some of the important tests already and everything is fine - you have to trust that you are going to have a healthy and happy baby otherwise it's easy to lose your mind.

And, you'll feel your baby soon enough - and that will def. lighten the stress!

I do know what you are going through. I will be 20w tomorrow & lately I keep thinking something is up just bc I have yet to feel the baby. Everyone tells me it is all in my head & that when I go to my Level II on Friday I will see.....I think if you are that "nervous" I would call the OB but without spotting or bleeding, you are AOK

I also didn't feel any movement until after 19 weeks. My doctor said don't expect it until about 20 weeks, so don't get upset if you haven't yet. If all your tests came back normal and you have no cramping/bleeding, it's probably just anxiety. I would sit tight until your Thursday appointment and then let the doctor know how you have been feeling.

I had and still have anxiety from time to time that something is wrong even though all signs and tests point to everything being perfectly fine. Hang in there

Calm Down jenny!!! The baby is fine!!! I told you I didnt feel him till like 22 weeks! and they were very little movements and they were not frequent or consistent! I know this whole thing is really hard and stressful for you.. considering all you have gone through... but everything will work out perfectly fine and you will have a beautiful healthy baby!! XoXo

Everything is fine If you have an appt tomorrow, I think that will be good enough to put your mind at ease.

That being said if you really want to you could go tonight - ask them for the latest appt possible. Just because they don't take appt's after 4 doesn't mean they are not there I've gotten a 5pm appt on a wednesay BUT he was not in - it was Eileen. I had to do it for timing issues before I was pg, but it definitely can be done. Love the office, but you know the wait can be like an hour just to get in......

I would get like that with ds. I would get an overwhelming sense of fear. And then would go to the doctor and everything would be fine. I think it comes with being high risk. You know about all the things that can happen and it hides in the back of your head. If you feel that worried call and see if they can squeeze you in. He does inductions and sections on Wed/Fri but as pp said Eileen is there.

I'm pretty sure the office is open later tonight since they didnt open today until 1pm
