do you want to make it or buy it?
make:

cook peeled/deveined shrimp in some olive oil, garlic, and white wine.
allow to chill.
combine horseradish and Peter Lugar sauce to taste.
done.
to buy:
fancy crackers, a nice (pasteurized ) cheese, grapes, shelled walnuts. arrange on a platter.

Swedish meatballs.
INGREDIENTS:
1 16-ounce can Jellied Cranberry Sauce 1 12-ounce bottle Chili Sauce 1 2-pound bag frozen, pre-cooked, cocktail-size meatballs
DIRECTIONS:
Combine sauces in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add meatballs. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally.
Makes 30 appetizer servings.
Or here's another that is good too:
SAUCE 1 can cranberry sauce (whole cranberries or plain jellied) 1 8 oz can tomato sauce 1 cup water 1 tspn yellow mustard (1 squirt)
Meatballs 1 1/2 lbs chop meat 1 egg salt pepper bread crumbs (handful)
Put ingredients for sauce in pot and put flame on, cover pot
Mix meatball ingredients. Make into balls and drop into sauce. It is okay to add into sauce even though sauce will be chunky in the beginning. Sauce will liquefy while meat cooks. Cover and let cook for about 1 1/2 hours.

I've done this with grape jelly and it came out really good. I used equal portions of the jelly and chili sauce.
