Need suggestions about order to introduce foods - anything your children love or hate?
So, slow and steady, we are introducing new foods to DD and I'm having a ton of fun with it!
At this point, it's sort of random what I'm giving her. I want to make sure to have enough staples that soon I'll be able to give her balanced meals and a lot of variety.
I was wondering: what "first foods" did your children love? Did you love to give them? Anything you are glad you introduced super early because it made feeding a lot easier? Anything everyone hates?
So far, we've done (in order): rice cereal oatmeal carrot sweet potato green peas pears banana brown rice
I plan to start green beans tomorrow (made them today). I think I should probably do apples after that, simply because they seem so practical.
Another quick question: if you want to add things like cinnamon or spices, do you do the 3-day (or 4-day, I sometimes hear?) rule for those as well?
TIA! I'm so excited about food! I almost feel like all this cooking for DD is helping me snack "healthier" by munching on what I'm making her, rather than pantry junk. Any suggestions / tips would be very welcome! (Sorry I'm so long-winded.)

Avocado is a quick and easy one. DS has loved them since we first started them!
ETA: I did follow the 3 day rule for cinnamon etc.
