Need suggestions.. Anniversary/New Daddy gift?
so our anniversary is the 23rd (5years) and i want to get something for the hubby but also something to celebrate that he's a Daddy...
Any suggestions?
Hubby is into Video games, his car (we modify it) and good clothes. He loves a great meal and likes to just relax at the computer.
I was thinking of making rosemary garlic lamb chops for him that night, with some potatoes and a nice wine

For our 5 year anniversary, I bought DH 5 things. 1 thing to commemorate each year of our marriage.
For example:
1 - the same bottle of wine that we drank on our honeymoon (to commemorate our first year).
2 - a framed picture of our oldest DS (because he was born in our second year of marriage).
3 - a fire pit for the backyard (because that was the year he decided to resign from being a volunteer firefighter and it was a REALLY hard decision for him)
4 - a framed picture of him and our 2 sons because DS#2 was born during our 4th year
5 - an oak tree sappling to commemorate our growing life and family together.
Cheesy yes, but he loved it

I ended up spending a little more than I wanted, but 5 years was a big deal for me (I have no idea why).

I love the 5 things above-Great idea! I got my dh a shirt and travel coffee mug with the babies picture on it!!! LOL

This year was our 5th anniversary and it was 2 months before DD was born. I got DH an Nikon D40 DSLR so he could take pictures of DD. He loves it! We got a great deal on it so it was more affordable.
