Need suggestions for a place where..
I can take my 2 1/2 year old to have some fun!! Queens or LI is fine.
I was thinking the Aquarium, but what else?

The Green Meadows farm in Queens is great. I don't know if you can go in just individually but I know that a lot of teachers take thier students there. We took our class in the spring and they have a really nice farm/petting zoo, and they do a big pumpkin picking thing in the fall.
Also took my kids to the Coney Island aquarium last year and they loved it!
There is a great petting zoo in Holtsville at the Holtsville Ecology Center.

The Queens Zoo is nice & it's not so big. I beleive it's only $5.00 to get in.

There is a Childrens Museum in Garden City. I also thought Bethpage Restoration was cool-not sure if he's too youngActivities for Kids
Here is a search I did for my SIL who moved here recently.

I took my kids to holtsville ecology site. They have a great petting zoo, and reg zoo (ITS FREE) and a nice playground/pool area we made a day of it and packed a lunch

Marissa is a year old and I took her to the long island game farm and she loved it cuz you can actually go in some ofthe pens with the animals and they don't attack you when you feed them like in most petting zoos. The animals are pretty content. Also whitepost farms is very nice as well.
