Need support: Getting myself back to WW and the gym: Update!
Ladies, I need some support.
In the fall, I was doing great. I was on WW, running outside for 1.5-2 miles 3 days a week. I lost 10 lbs and felt great.
Then came Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, and then all the goodies left in my office. And that;s when it got too cold to run outside, and I hate running in the gym.
Now it is February and I still haven't gotten itno a running routine and I am eating uncontrollably. My clothes that were falling off me in November fit me fine now. The only time I can work out is in the mornings before DD wakes up (around 7) or in the evenings when DH comes home from work (at 8- which really doesn't work for me. I'm usually dead by then). I just feel belly getting bigger, and I am NOT comfortable with that.
I have been meaning to get to a meeting, but being a working mother and having to bill 40 hours a week, its been hard. And I hate leaving my family on the weekend, but I decided that its time to do it. So I am planning on going to a meeting near my house tomorrow and to get myself into a gym routine.
Please give me the support I need to make it until the weather is warm and I can run outside again.
UPDATE:
So I did it! I joined yesterday and start counting today. I went running this morning, and decided that at least 3 days a week I will run or go to the gym. I will have to break out of my comfort zone and work out or go to meetings on the weekends (which I hate to do- that's my family time).
Robyn, I don't usually run in Central Park in the morning. I ilve all the way west, by Riverside so that is where I run. I don't have a lot of time to run in the morning, so by the time I would get to Central Park, I'd only have a few minutes before I woudl have to turn around. I also have cold weather gear, including a hat with ear phones, but I just couldn't do it in weather under 45 degrees. But I wil just have to be bored and run at the gym. I mean, its the middle of February, weather should be getting warmer soon, right?
MrsR, Thanks for the suggestion. I do have Time Warner and do some of the exercise on demand. The thing is, I work. So I am not usually hope when she naps. And after she goes to bed, I clean the house and I am zonked. But I do the abs workout sometimes. I just need to get into a better routine.
THANKS GIRLS FOR THE SUPPORT I know it will work if I work it, so that is what I am going to do!

Aw Take one day at a time. It may take a little bit to get into the groove. Maybe you can start one day a week at the gym and slowly add more days as the household gets used to your new routine.
As for WW, just keep reminding yourself that you've done the weight loss before and you can do it again.
It's hard to get into the weight loss routine, trust me I know. But your mind is in the right place and that's most important.
Good luck!

I can't imagine how hard it is to balance all that you do. But honestly, I would run outside regardless of the temps. Go to Central Park, there are tons of people there in the early AM bundled up with hats and gloves etc...it's not so bad....I have run when it's been as low as 12 degrees! If you want advice on cold weather gear let me know!
Good Luck...I commend you for all that you do. Be good to youself...you are doing ok and will get back down to where you want to be. The spring is right around the corner too and you will be more active which helps!

Shelly - you have time warner right (i am assuming because you are in the city). I often do exercise on demand (channel 1025 I believe) during nap time...or sometimes i turn it on and T and I do it together. She seems to really enjoy it.
