Need suspense/thriller recs.

I want to read a good suspense/mystery/thriller book. Nothing too scary.

I plan to read Desert Places and Break You very soon...

Serial is a short story, and its not scary so much as extremely graphic ...

Firestarter by Stephen King! I was a little leery of Stephen King since I'm not a big horror fan, but it wasn't scary at all. Great read though.

I like the Penderghast series by the team of authors, Preston & Child. I think Relic is the first one, but Cabinet of Curiosities was the best.

If you don't mind non-fiction, Devil in the White City was the scariest book and more suspenseful than most novels!

I second Run. Desert Places was also good too but I preferred Run.
