Re: Need tile guy

Where did you get the tiles from? I would ask at the tile store. They generally have lists of companies. I am starting a gut renovation of my master bathroom. I hired a contractor to hire other people to do the work.

I wound up finding the tile at Floor & Decor in Farmingdale. That huge new store.
I guess I'll give them a call.

I was hoping to use someone that someone else I "know" used and was happy with the job. Every piece of this kitchen reno has been a nightmare (Except for the plumbing. That went perfectly) I'm trying to avoid a disaster with the backsplash by hiring someone whos work I have seen and heard good things about

I was happy with him, yes, but ugh it was so long ago- like 10 years ago so I don't have his number or anything and God knows if he was still doing it.
Sorry!

LOVE that store!!! We went looking for a new basement floor and I already started daydreaming about redoing my bathroom with tiles from there.

I know the store has floor guys so I'm assuming they also have tile guys. It's a free estimate, so I'd start there.

I just called them. They gave me an 877# that you call for free estimate and then they hook you up with whoever is within their group of people who can do what you need. I m petrified getting someone like this but at this point, all the other work that got Effed up was done by people who we knew in some way - so it 's a damn crap shoot either way. Maybe this way I'll have some coverage if the job sucks

I have posted on MY FB Page, Long Island Review FB Page, Asked every fricken neighbor and posted here lol

My one neighbor has a cousin who is currently doing a glass tile job and hates working with it. Still waiting on his # (Fat chance he'll even want the job)
My friends guy is busy through January if we still need someone then, I can try and call him for a quote
My next door neighbors guy hasn't gotten back to him yet

IT IS A SHIT SHOW
