Need to buy Disney tickets - when?
I want tickets to Disney only. Magic kingdom I guess. No park hopper option. Should I buy now or in Disney? And what do I need to skip all the lines?
Also my daughter is turning 3 on trip. How do I prove she is 2? She has such long hair and people always think she's older. Are they strict about ages?

If it's her birthday and she's 3 upon visit then I think yo might have to pay for her , if it's celebrating her birthday thats a few weeks off then you should be fine . You just supply her D.O.B.

Buy them ahead of time so you can book your Fast Passes. You will be a lot more limited if you do it the day of. And no, I don't find them to be strict with bdays. Just push it off by a couple of days and tell them you're there as an early bday celebration. They'll give her a bday pin and people all around the park will wish her happy bday.

Re: Need to buy Disney tickets - when?
They go by the age she is when you begin your trip, so no, she doesn't need a ticket if she is turning 3 while there. No one asks you for their date of birth unless it's a 5 year old trying to be passed off as under 3.
You need tickets to book fast pass times 30 days in advance for off site, and 60 for on site. When do you go?

You can book your fast passes any time as long as there are still time slots open for the rides. I went this May and was choosing fast passes on the boat ride from our hotel to the park. You can book fast passes as early as 60 days in advance if you stay in a Disney hotel and 30 days prior if you do not but it is not required. If you have any questions about purchasing park tickets you can call Disney customer service--they are really helpful. When I planned my trip they told me last minute trips are very common despite the belief that you MUST book way in advance.

I would buy them today at Undercovertourist.com. They will email you the ticket ID to link to your My Disney Experience account, then you can choose some times today. I absolutely wouldn't wait until you get there. Aside from the fact that you will be waiting in a line to buy tickets, you risk getting crappy times for rides.

Re: Need to buy Disney tickets - when?
Are you going for many days? It is rainy season & there are low crowds. Fast pass is not essential & it may be better to have nice weather (Disney is not fun in the rain)... We watched the forecast & picked a nice day. Last 2 years, we got our tickets morning of & did fast passes as we went along.
