need to find a dress for my MIL wedding this weekend
I feel like its a waste to spend $ right now on a dress since not sure if this will be my last DC or not. But i have tried Marshalls etc. and havent had any luck. I am thinking I need to go to the maternity store but i have looked already and I am short and dont like the lenght of the maternity dress, and then again would need to spend money to shorten them. Please help! TIA! Post pics if you have them and where you got the dresses please.

I found this dress at Motherhood. They also have it in a maroon color.
I am short, also, and it comes just above my knee. I would probably like it a bit shorter, but it looked good anyway. I like that it is more form fitting and doesn't look like a tent!
It is a little low cut in the front (I have a large chest) so I got a form fitting tank top (that also smoothes everything out) from Motherhood and wore it underneath...perfect!

I have worn non-maternity dresses. Just look for a flowy type dress.
Otherwise, have you tried the Destination Motherhood store (on Walt Whitman Road) in Huntington Station? A few years ago they had a huge selection of nicer dresses (even white wedding dresses  )

I got this dress at Destination Maternity for $25. It's not something I would choose pre-pregnancy, but it was cheap! I am also only 5'3".

thanks ladies. I am heading to destination maternity today at lunch. HOpefully I will have luck. I went to Lord & Taylor yest and had no luck. Any more suggestions would be appreciated!!

Destination Maternity has tons of dresses under 50 bucks. Also check out Dress Barn. I have a ton of dresses from there I've been wearing this pregnancy. They are cut like maternity dresses so even at 35 weeks I'm still wearing them and they were like 39 dollars!
