Need to Vent - (long - sorry)
I'm on CD 38 today. This is our 4th month trying. For this month, I decided to see if I didn't worry so much, and try and time everything, maybe that would work. So I didn't use OPKs, but I kept track of my CM, and I had an idea of when I was going to O. I'm now on CD 38 - last cycle was 39 days long, the two before that were 37 days. I tested and got a BFN this morning. I was sad and frustrated, and evidently a bad mood. My DH, doesn't understand the frustration - all he keeps saying, is you need to relax, and not worry about it, then it will happen. Well if I don't worry about it, and figure out the timing of it, then how will it ever work. I haven't gotten AF, but I have a feeling she will rear her ugly head today or tomorrow. I was relaxed about this whole thing until last weekend. I thought I had implantation bleeding on Saturday, then I had little cramps all week - I usually don't get cramps until I get AF, so all week, I've been hoping my more relaxed approach worked. This whole thing is so frustrating!
Thanks, I just needed to vent.

I'm sorry
Unfortunately most of us have felt those same feelings and it's not easy! Much baby dust to you and remember it's not over until AF shows

Re: Need to Vent - (long - sorry)
I had the same thing happen this past July. I had spotting one day and then my period went missing. I was convinced it was implantation bleeding and then when my period was late, what else could it be? Unfortunatley, it wasn't my month. Dh is the same way. He really doesn't get it or understand why I get so upset. He does now, since I explained to him my feelings. I dont' think they know what we feel unless we spell it out for them.
Lots of hugs to you though...

Re: Need to Vent - (long - sorry)
Charting will ease this frustration. However, since the implantation ...spotting occurred, on sunday, that could have been about 7-dpo...today could only be 11 dpo....so there is still hope left :) !!!
Dh's won't get it, until, it goes on for longer than they suspect it should or could. Dh's are mostly logical thinkers. They don't deal with it the way we do, because for them it's mental. For us it's our bodies and we are signaled to think about it all the time. Every twinge, makes us think. Plus for many of us we dreamed of this day since we were so young. Little girls play with their baby dolls....and dream of them from that time on...

Michelle, I've said it before, thank you so much. You have such a gift to be a realist, but to keep all of our hopes up. I know there are many girls on this board that have been trying a lot longer then I have been. And I give all of you so much credit! You truly are remarkable.
Thanks

Re: Need to Vent - (long - sorry)
This process is a lot of ups and downs. I know it will be worth it in the long run. I totally empathize- the more people tell me to relax the more I think about it.
Just keep the faith
ETA- STAY AWAY AF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
