Need with with idea's for a baby shower gift!
Okay so I was wondering if I could get some help from you girls regarding idea's for a baby shower gift.
I'd like to put together a basket so if you could share with me some of the different type of baskets you received or have seen at a baby shower I'd definitely appreciate it!
p.s. the bath tub was already bought so that's out of the running and if it helps or makes a difference the mom is having a baby boy

- basket of layette clothing
- basket of bedding/blankets
- basket of lotions, baby powder, diaper cream, etc.
- diaper cake (diapers, towels, and toys)

i didnt have my shower yet but my BFF made me a HUGE basket when we found out the sex.
She got a huge basket from Michaels. It says "baby things" on it. It is a dark brown square basket with a beige canvas inside that fold over the top and embroidered in a light brown "baby things" I LOVE THE BASKET
Inside she wrote a lil note from her daughter who is 3 mons old that inside are things that will help you and the little one
She put so much cute stuff inside...some stuff form my reg some not but it was stuff she knew she used for her daughter
Star wars onesie (me and DH fav movie)
Miracle blanket swaddle
soothie pacifiers
paci clip to the baby shirt
nail clipper
medicince dispenser paci
2 nasal aspirator
newborn mitts
2 teethers
pacifier wipes
snack catchers (snack holder when u turn upside down the snack doesnt come out
baby safe feeder for solid foods

dreft portable pen (like a tide to go)

The basket was packet to the BRIM!!!!! it was soooo awesome! I loved it!
I would say look on the reg for little things and fill the basket up like crazy. Some items my BFF ranged from 20-.99 so fill it whatever way u want. But I will say it was a WOW factor and had so much stuff I needed! I love my BFF!
I also have seen a baskey with clothes in it ranging from newborn to 12 months. If you know the sex that is easier to do. I would put some hangers on the bottom of the basket and attach all the clothes to a clothes line so the momma can pull out the clothes line and hold it so all the clothes are displayed....very cute too

I received a basket with books and a giftcard to Barnes & Noble. You could make a basket with the little necessities (ex. thermometer, gas relief drops, health/grooming kit, etc.), a basket with different onesies/holiday bibs, or a basket of teethers, toys, and pacifiers.

I gave my best friend a basket with all of the smaller items that she put on her registry (like CDs, pacifiers, bottles, bibs, wash cloths, etc....) and then I put a book in too. It wasn't cheap but she loved it because most likely she would have had to buy all of those things for herself since most people don't buy that stuff off of registries.
I've also seen people do holiday themed baskets...Buying bibs and outfits in the varying sizes that the child would be during those months. (Ex: if the baby was born in Septmber, they would buy a Halloween themed outfit and other "stuff" at 1-3 months and then Christmas at 3-6 months, etc...) Image Attachment(s):

Got a basket with "needed stuff": nasal aspirator, clippers, thermometer, butt paste, breast cream ect.

I received a basket for my baby shower : It was filled with baby bottles, pacifiers, nipples and brushes....and also books for our little girl.
I am making a basket for my friend's shower and I am filling it with books & toys for her
