They haven't done a sono to see if it's ectopic? How far apart are your beta's?
Honestly, it kind of sounds ectopic to me, but I'm not an expert - in a viable pregnancy your numbers should double each day.

I have had the almost the exact same numbers. If I was you I would wait. I never had an eptopic but i did have to get methotrexate two separate times to get my levels to go down. My Dr said they look for the numbers to show a rising pattern so although you had a drop it did go back up. Also he todl me that the numbers could show this pattern because you have some pregnancy tissue left over and its producing hcg.

HI LADIES,
WELL NUMBERS JUMPED TO 487 AFTER 3 DAYS.
WENT TODAY HAD SONO, SAW NOTHING ON OVARIES, BLADDER OR IN TUBES AND NOTHING IN UTERUS.
BETA TODAY CAME BACK 548. IT DID NOT DOUBLE. HAVE TO GO BACK ON MONDAY.

Hello Ladies,
Talk about a roller coaster ride. Numbers went to 1250 from 847. They again didn't double but they saw a sac on the sono. have to go back and see if this baby shows up on monday....

I am so sorry you had to go thru this. I had a similar experience, was an ectopic. The drs said it was a postive thing in that you could get pg.
