need your help-terrible news...
Hi All, i just got terrible news that they are going to have to remove my left tube on Monday due to hydrosalpinx...i cant believe this. Never tested positive for any infections or anything..anyways, i guess i am posting to find out if any of you have had success conceiving with one tube and how fertility treatment can help when you only have one tube to deal with... any success stories or advice would be very encouraging right now.. thanks!

From what I understand, as long as your other tube is o.k., you will still be able to conceive. My SIL only has one tube and she conceived 2 babies with no problems.
to you! Having received devastaing news about my own tubes (and after losing one) I know how you must feel. But stay positive - one functioning tube may be all you need!

I am so sorry you have to go through this. You can still conceive with one tube. It will be more difficult, but is definitely possible. You also can turn to IVF if it comes down to it, that will bypass your tubes completely.

I'm so sorry to hear
A very good friend of mine just conceived with only one ovary--I'm sure it's a similar situation. I hope you will have the same good luck!

My friend had to have a tube removed two years ago due to an ectopic pregnancy. She got pregnant two months later with her second and is now pregnant again with their third child. All without any kind of IUI or IVF. She does take Clomid, but she had to take that when she was trying to get PG with her first.
