Need your thoughts on two bathrooms with the same color scheme
What do you think of having two bathrooms on two different floors of the house, with the same color scheme (white/silver sage)?Do you think this is ok, or do you feel each bathroom should have a different color scheme?
One bathroom is done already and I love the way it came out. The other will be done this week. They both have different tile (one taupe marble and one will be just plain white tiles). Also both have "white" vanities that are different styles.
They would have shower curtains & towels that are different but same color scheme, silver sage/eucalyptus from Restoration hardware. And same wall paint, Silver Sage (if I do this).
I am just debating, as I am not sure if it would be odd/wise to use the same color scheme for both bathrooms. Will they look too similar? Does that matter when we sell our home in a year or two? How do you think having two bathrooms that look similar in colors/style would be percieved by home buyers? Bad, good (they will look very modern, crisp, etc) or neither?
thanks

It's a neutral sceme, so I think it's perfectly fine... I honestly don't think anyone would even realize it unless you were to point it out. If the tiles and fixturess were identical, then it would be a different story....
I should confess, however, that EVERYTHING in our home matches we have one color scheme, becuase we are in a mid-sized apartment, and everything flows into everything else. It's all black, grey, and white, with touches of cherry red (a chair, rug, pillows and blankets....) It makes life simple, since you can move livingroom chairs into the bedroom and vica versa w/o any style conflict
