Needm advice on clothing size...
We are going to Hawaii in November so John will be 11 months then. Today at his 9 month check up he weighed in at 21lbs 12ou. I had bought all size 12-18 clothing for this trip but, I think it will be big on him since he will probably be about 23 pds I would say when we go. ( they all say for weight: 22 to 26-27 pds).Should I keep the 12-18 sizes or get some more 12 size clothes?

I would buy a few 9-12 months unless he's starting to bust out of them. I hate doing it because then you get no use out of them.

Depends on the brands too. I find my daughter grows out of Old Navy before Carters and so on.
I wouldn't exchange shirts, those can be big without being a problem. I'd just make sure you have some shorts/bathing suits in both sizes.
Lucky kid to visit Hawaii before he turns one! I had to wait until my honeymoon to go there!

My FIL nnad his wife have lived there for like 8 years now so we go every year.

I would get some 12 month stuff at Target- I got my DD some really cheap clothes for that size just recently- I got the more expensive stuff- 12-18 months.
