Neice diagnosed with Scarlet fever
and my FIL is driving up from Florida to be with us for the arrival of our baby. Now Im freaking b/c adults can get scarlet fever and he was with her all day yesterday christmas and she was diagnosed TODAY! so she is contagious until 24 hours of being on anitbiotics. I called DH and told him to tell his father to go to doctor, Im so scared now for him to be around the baby

wow, i had scarlett fever as a baby and have barely heard of kids getting it nowadays, on a lighter note, i made it through LOL and no one in my family caught it

I had scarlett fever when I was around 12 years old. No one in my house ever caught it from. I was on antibiotics and turned out perfectly fine.
Hope your niece gets better soon
