Nestle Goodstart and now TONS of spit up
I finally found a formula that he loves but he's been spitting up a TON (even more than normal w/ the AR) and I think it's the formula. I asked the pedi and they said they didn't think it's the formula. Do youthink I should switch again? He's been on it for 1 week...

Is he taking any prescription meds? Sometimes reflux needs meds. and formula alone won't "cure" it.
I was actually just talking with my kids' Dr and she said her grandson is having a rough time with milk allergies and reflux. They ended up trying a second, stronger medicine that seems to be finally helping.

Danielle- We went through 6 formulas (he was screaming 24 hrs a day!!)before we ended up with a prescription only formula (that our insurance company covers AND they deliver to our door) But even on this he is a big spitter-upper.
Does he have any other symptoms?
My sister has 7month old twins who are on Enphimil Gentilease and it worked wonders for them!

I totally think its the formula. Miranda did horrible on Good Start. Have you tried the Enfamil Gentlease. We're supplementing with that and she's doing well. She still spits up but nothing out of the ordinary.

Re: Nestle Goodstart and now TONS of spit up
I did try the gentlease - we went off it because he wasn't really taking a bottle so I thought he might not like it. Now he's taking the bottle w/ the goodstart, but spitting up like crazy. I'm going to go back to the gentlease and hopefully he'll take it. Thanks
PS - he is on Zantac

Re: Nestle Goodstart and now TONS of spit up
We had her on goodstart too, she also has reflux.
The ped told us changing her formula wouldn't make a difference too, but I tried the good start soy and she threw it up immediately. Now she is on similac lactose free and seems to be doing better.
She is also on zantac.
