neupogen
Just wondering if anyone out there would like to share their journey and their path to the use of neupogen....
Here is my quick rundown: I hv a DS who will be 4 this Nov. Conceived no problem Have been trying for 2.5 yrs to conceive. Never got pregnant. Diagnosed with several immune issues, HLA matching, Thromophilia, endometriosis, PCOS...hmmm I think thats it, LOL! Nothing for DH 6/11 IVF cycle with IVIG. BFP!! Lost the baby @ 8 weeks This was my first miscarriage! Now I am moving onto an FET with a recommendation to try neupogen this cycle.
Has anyone had pos results with neupogen and what led you to that point??? Any input is greatly appreciated

Re: neupogen
First sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Second, ditto to all of the issues above and then some!
I never made it to IVIG, just did Intralipids and Prednisone protocol and then jumped over to Neupogen.
So far, the immune testing for Neupogen has been very positive. Everything has come down to normal readings. I'd say I've been on it for maybe a year already off and on with each cycle.
Neupogen is very easy to use as well, just a subcu shot every night.
Lots of luck for your bfp.

Re: neupogen
My main problem was my thin lining, I also have thrombophilia and elevated NK cells. Part of my protocol was Neupogen which I used daily as a Sub Q injection. As it turns out it was my BFP cycle and I am currently 21 weeks PG.
I did not have any side effects from any of the meds, except maybe fatigue.
Dr. B had mentioned using Neupogen in addition to all the other meds in my protocol. At that point I was up for anything. I had 2 IUI's before my last IVF cycle where he used Neupogen as an infusion with a catheter into the uterus, supposedly that was to help with thin lining. But those cycles were unsuccessful.
Good luck with whatever you decide. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions.

Re: neupogen
Good Luck KMCGK Congrats to you VeeJay
I know Dr B had said that the neupogen is in the experimental stage as far as use with immunology and pregnancy. I think Im really worried bc this may be my last chance. I am a self pay for IVF/FET, so financially I am drained!!!! I dont have time to play with diff protocols
Today he also said that he would do Intralipids as well.
Did either of you have HLA matching??
Thanks girls, lots of luck

Re: neupogen
I don't know anything about neupogen, but just wanted to share that I also suffer from secondary infertility.
My DD is 4 and we conceived her w/ no problems. We have been trying for #2 for 2 1/2 years. I just had a miscarriage at 10 weeks after my 2nd IVF cycle (1st IVF was a chemical).
I wish you much luck for your FET! I will be taking at least 6 months off to address some medical issues, but when we're ready to start up again, we'll be doing an FET as well.

Re: neupogen
Thank you for sharing your story! I, like your screen, was InShock to be diagnosed with secondary infertility. We seem to have a similar story.
Thank you and I wish you luck when you are ready to start again!!!!
