Neuro-Psych Eval Dr. Hilary Gomes or Dr Kimberly Williams?

My child needs a Neuro-Psych Eval (IEE) done. The school sent me a list of doctors and also referred Dr. Kimberly Williams (who isn't on the school list). Dr Hilary Gomes was referred by a friend of a friend.

Does anyone have experience with these doctors? Thank you!!

I've heard good things about Dr. Gomes. If you want you can ask for recommendations (if you're on Facebook) on one of the special need parent groups: Long Island Special Education Parent Network, Our Special Long Island kids, or if your kid's diagnosis is ASD, SASI- Specialized Autism Support & Info.

I spoke with Dr Gomes and she was amazing over the phone lol. BUT she doesn't except insurance and I didn't have the $3,000 to pay.

I ended up going with Dr. Preston and really really liked him!

We just went to see DS pediatrician and they also suggested getting a NueroPsych evaluation. She said that Hofstra does this for $600. I was planning on looking into this today.
