neurologists? nassau
I had the worst migraine experience this weekend, it lasted almost 24 hours and then was dull for another 24. It physically made me sick(throwing up). I couldn't even take anything because I'm going for a colonoscopy on Thurs. Anyway, does anyone have a good neurologist they could recommend in nassau? I'm in Massapequa. TIA!

I have a GREAT neuro in NHP. I know it may be a little far fro you, but I go to him from So. Queens

I go to adam schneider in Syosset!! He has done amazing things for me! 516-367-8040.
He got my uncontrolable a-typical migranes to a minimum. He has also helped me tons with nerve damage!!
ETA: I live in North Massapequa and it only takes me 15 minutes to get to his office!

Dr. Ajay Misra in Mineola (also an office in Massapequa) His hours are a little weird, but he is very thorough & a good Dr.

I use to see a great neurologist in Manhasset (across from N Shore Hosp.). His name was Dr Jeffrey Kessler. Sorry I don't have his #. I'd still see him if I could get there but I don't drive. I LOVED HIM!!!!!

My DH has guillian barre syndrome and sees Dr. Kellerman in Plainview. I can find the info for you -- it is right on old country road right off of 135. The guy is AMAZING. My DH was paralized from the waist down and Kellerman was the only one who could figure out what was wrong with him ... he walked in the hospital, read his chart, checked him out a bit and diagnosed him right away. If it weren't for this guy my husband may not have started rehab as early and he may not have recovered as well as he did.
also wanted to add that my dh suffers from migrains and other problems as well that he sees kellerman for so it's not like he just specializes in GB syndrome'.
